Although it may seem a way off still, it’s time to dust off the #RosesAreWhite banners and pre-order the paint because the Roses 2023 fixture list has been announced by YUSU today!
This year the annual clash with the University of Lancaster is being hosted in York after a long Covid-induced hiatus since the last time we hosted in 2019.
York’s Equestrian teams will be having the honour of kicking off Roses on Wednesday 19th of April.
This will be followed three days later with Rowing and Athletics on Saturday 22nd.
The bulk of the competition will then take place the following weekend of the 28th – 30th April, where not only will York be seeking to be hosting a must-see epic tournament consisting of all the amazing and brilliant sports, but avenge last year’s sounding defeat away to the auld enemy!
