York Pop-Up Vaccine Clinic Returns to Campus

Vaccines will be offered in Wentworth College from 10am to 6pm on Wednesday.

The University of York is again partnering with Nimbuscare, who are coordinating York’s vaccine rollout, to set up a bookable and walk in vaccination clinic on January 19 at Wentworth College on Campus West.

An email sent to students said: “We will be hosting another pop up vaccination clinic tomorrow (Wednesday 19 January) in Wentworth College, WN222 from 10am to 6pm. You can book a space at this clinic via Eventbrite, and there will also be some walk-in appointments available if you don’t manage to book a slot.”

The clinic will be using Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, and will be open to anyone who needs to have their booster vaccine, as well as anyone who has not yet had their first or second dose.

The email also offers advice to those who have been partially vaccinated outside of the UK, saying “you can also book into this clinic … [and that] There is guidance from our partners Nimbuscare about overseas vaccinations, so please check their pages if you’re unsure about your eligibility.”

The email also announced that the University is planning to host more clinics on campus this term.
