“At YSTV, we are covering the SU election with our 60 Second Manifestoes, where candidates can explain the main points of their campaigns in a short video, posted on our YouTube channel. We will then be hosting Debate Night, in the Roger Kirk Centre where the candidates for each role will be grilled on key issues facing students and have a chance to debate each other’s manifestoes and promote their own platforms. This year we’re aiming to encourage discourse and clarity! We will also cover Election Results Night, announcing the winners live on YouTube with interviews with the winning candidates and live reactions!”
