UOSS13

I’m a pretty big fan of hipster-giant Urban Outfitters and as a ‘thanks’ for all my hard work plugging (and wearing) their stuff for you guys, they invited me for a sneak-peak at their SS13 collection. I’ve loved and purchased it, and now it’s finally available to buy in-store it’s time for me to share it too:

This season is all about naughty luxury. Opulent fabrics are embellished spikes and sequins; the soft pastels of summer have turned to dark red, black and gold, and sun-loving ladies have transformed into sultry vixens of the night. This black pintuck-detail shirt features studded collar detailing and a button back, and will look great with your favourite hotpants, heels and some statement jewellery from MariaFrancescaPepe (below).

Be the perfect mix-en with this sultry pintuck blouse (£42) & comfy knit (£195)

Of course, my favourite thing about December is jumper season. Claudie Pierlot is synonymous with french chic; pair this super-soft knit with your fave skinnies and some tough love booties for a trip to Harry Fair, and you’re guaranteed to be the cutest girl on campus. Add a little more edge with an Urban Exclusive black & fluorescent pink satchel from Jas MB, and you’re ready to go.

Finishing Touches: Jas MB neon-trim satchel (£85), MariaFrancescaPepe spike ring (£45)

The wardrobe of my ideal man is a mixture of Hilfiger, Paul Smith and David Mayer Naman (italian All Saints); safe to say I like classic British tailoring mixed with a bit of All-American prep and edgy European colours. Mix all three with a pair of 501’s in this season’s hottest colour and a trendy fabric-strap version of Daniel Wellington’s luxury silk-strap watches.

Go edgy prep with classic Levi 501’s (£65) and a smart-casual watch from Triwa (£99)

I’m finally ready to admit that the ombre trend might be here to stay, and Colour Mania’s ‘Hair Shadow’ is the ideal solution for those on the graduated-fence: It doesn’t dry your hair out the way chalk does, it washes clean out in the morning, and it’s a STEAL at £6!

Party hair & Miracle Balm.. what could go wrong? (£6, £25)

The final item on my list this season is something I can only describe as a miracle salve, and I’m so in love I’ve got to dedicate an entire paragraph to this beauty investment.. For a mere £25 (before discount) you’ll find yourself with a product that moisturises your hair, body and soul. It balances skin oils, doubles as a cuticle gel, tames split ends and dry hair, improves the appearance of cellulite, scars and stretch mark and even claims to heal wrinkles (but I wouldn’t know about that, obviously). It’s UV protected, it smells heavenly, and it’s saved me a bunch at the hairdressers. I’m really not sure how I managed without it.

I’m so in love with all the new stuff that I’ll be popping up my own version of their ‘Prezzies for ya Bezzies’ later this week! I’ve got Urb Fever!

Happy shopping! X
