Urgent appeal after beanbag pinched from Goodricke College

1526338_10152054768600969_1435823136433094364_nOfficials at Goodricke have launched an urgent appeal after a beanbag was pinched from the college’s nucleus.

An online poster showing the giant green pad was put across social media earlier today with the headline: “MISSING” followed by “Have you seen this beanbag?”.

JCRC members at the college say the beanbag was last seen on the premises just before the Easter break in the Goodricke nucleus.

“The JCRC are now concerned for its [the beanbag’s] welfare and any information regarding the location or movements of the giant green beanbag should be reported immediately,” the poster says.

“Contact: Tara Annison ([email protected]) if you have any information regarding the disappearance.”

It adds: “Goodricke JCRC issued this appeal: Green beanbag if you see this: please come home, you aren’t in trouble, we just want you back safe!”

But it’s not the first time an appeal has been issued following the disappearance of college furniture.

In February last year, Vanbrugh students received an email urging cushions to be returned to the JCRC after they were pinched from the college’s sofas.

Administrator Georgina Heath told students that they had a “one day amnesty” before security were being drafted in to find the culprits.

She added: “Should we have to resort to this we will have to classify the removal of the cushions as theft and this will be reported to the police.”

  1. I saw a girl manically ripping the beanbag apart with her teeth while at a party in the nucleus the other night. It was animalistic and scary. She probably ate the beanbag and that’s where it’s gone. The other JCRCs should watch out, she might savagely attack their precious beanbags too. So scary we have a monster among us.

  2. As a result of this campaign, the bean bag has been returned.

We ask that the press now give the twins some privacy so they can both come to terms with their terrible ordeal.
