Library spends £30,000 on boost for books

Over £30,000 has been spent on the latest library ‘MoreBooks’ scheme this term.

The scheme aims to make sure that students have enough books and to fill any gaps in their course reading. Students can nominate books that are needed through a system on the library website.

One second year History student told Vision: “It’s a great idea – I only wish I had some of these books before my exams!”

A third year PPE student said: “I don’t really care. The library is a waste of time – the selection is
terrible.”
