What’s the most important part of your manifesto?
Ensuring Officers are accountable.
How do you differ from other candidates?
As a first year, I feel that I am untainted by internal YUSU rivalry and allegiances, enabling me to be totally impartial.
What was your favourite thing the previous officer did and why?
His management of the Democratic Review Referendum was excellent.
What’s the most important thing about the role you are going for?
Making sure the Officers do their jobs with the commitment and democracy our students deserve.
How are you campaigning?
I’ll be campaigning with posters and social media, but I especially want to talk to students all around campus.
What do you like the most about York?
The great political atmosphere created by YUSU and the collages.
What’s the best slogan you can think of for your campaign?
A vote for Liam is a vote for world peace.
What do you think about York Vision?
It’s a fun, interesting and very readable publication.
