BUCS Football: York Men’s 2nds suffered their second defeat in as many games as they lost at home to Bishop Burton College in the BUCS Football Northern 5B League this afternoon.
Bishop Burton, based near Beverly, demolished Teeside 11-0 in their opening fixture last Wednesday; a team the University 3rds failed to break down last year.
But a spirited performance from UYAFC against now-top-of-the-league Bishop Burton will give York hope for the season; despite shipping four goals on their brand new home 3G turf.
