Dear Agony Aunt,
My husband, the Thane of Fife, is currently the moral backbone in a situation involving an evil tyrant who everyone is fairly sure killed the last king. I feel like he’s spending so much time working at the moment, that our marriage is suffering. He’s always been a very dedicated father but he just left, for England, with no goodbye! I also have this overwhelming feeling that I am just an insignificant
character that may get killed off just to heighten the tension.
Please give me some advice about how I should get my husband to be less distant.
Emotional in Fife
Dear Emotional,
I am just flicking through the play right now and it seems like your husband is still the same man BUT he’s just caught up in a very difficult situation. I am sure he will be back to his old self in no time by the end of the play.
I can’t seem to find any reference to you actually appearing as a character… Oh, here it is…
Oh dear.
RUN, WOMAN!!! IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, RUN!!!
Yours hoping that this letter reaches you before you get to Act 4,
Agony Aunt
