The annual Summer Ball returned to York Racecourse on Tuesday 3 June to send off 2025 graduates leaving the University this summer.
The event involved a variety of fairground rides, street food, a casino and a silent disco and featured performances from headline acts.
A record breaking 4120 tickets were sold this year matching last year’s sell out.
The final 100 tickets which were released on 19 May sold out in under 30 seconds.
On the Main Stage, artists including Sigala, Swift & Styles, Oscar Hartland and Section 4 performed.
Several live bands played on the Band Society stage including the Blazers, Footprints, Blair Bitch, Tonics and Innovation Way.
Previous line-ups have included Charli XCX, Sundara Karma, Circa Waves and Scouting for Girls.
Outgoing York SU Sports Officer Tanisha Jain said: “It is so good to see so many of our students come out and celebrate the end of yet another fantastic year together.
Although it was my last summer ball so it was bittersweet, the highlight for me was definitely the drag act by Velma Celli, they just captivated the audience and had the stage on fire!”.
