One of their men’s hockey players is alleged to have thrown a bottle against the wall in a fit of hysterics after Lancaster were on the end of a 5-3 defeat by York, a match in which York came back from 3-1 down. The player in question is said to have had to be restrained by team mates, but is now calming down. The pressure of Roses looks to be getting to some of the Lancaster lot.
