Tickets for the final are already sold out, proving that yet again, Battle of the Bands is one of the most popular and enjoyed student-run events of the year.

Despite no more tickets being available, each of the sets will be recorded, filmed, and available to watch afterwards.

You can also visit Band Soc’s Instagram, uoy_bandsoc, for the final results so you don’t have to miss out completely if you didn’t manage to get tickets in time!

Speaking about the heats, Band Soc’s Wellbeing Officer, Sam Roddis reflected on the competition so far,

“It was cool to see how much emerging talent the uni has, a lot of the bands have so much potential and I hope to see them all grow going forward. Big props to Luke George and Ghost Ship on winning [the second round of heats], I wish them luck in the final.”
