Protestors with an Extinction Rebellion logo gathered atop Central Hall on Monday morning advocating for greater climate change efforts at the University.

The group hoisted a banner stating “One Planet, One Chance” over the balcony of Central Hall, waving at students in Greg’s Place and chanting throughout the morning.

Likely connected to the start of the University’s One Planet week, the protestors chanted messages of change, including “We are Extinction Rebellion” and “One Planet, One Chance.”

The group also sang a common protest song ‘Power to the People’, with lyrics including “People got the power, tell me can you hear it, shout it by the hour.”

The banner was left hanging over Central Hall for campus to see for the rest of the day.
