Vanbrugh’s JCRC election results were announced on Friday night at the college’s Volume event, although the position of Chair remains vacant. Ten other positions, including Secretary, Disabilities Rep and LGBT Rep, also had no nominees.
The most important positions decided were Treasurer, Events Vice Chair and Welfare Vice Chair. Treasurer and Vice Chair for Welfare, both uncontested positions, were claimed by Will Addy and Vanessa-Jane Villanueva respectively. Vincent Waddelove beat Zisu Andrei by 64 votes to become Welfare Vice Chair.
Chair nominations will close on Wednesday, with voting to open the following Monday. By elections for non-Chair positions will commence next term.
