York Vision wins Student Publication of the Year

York Vision has won the Guardian’s Student Publication of the Year.

We took home the top gong at the prestigious London ceremony hosted by the BBC’s Rick Edwards for our Eton Mess, Barred for Being Gay and Maggot Veg Sold In Nisa editions.

Nouse took runner-up in the category.

There were other celebrations from York too as our former editor Patrick Greenfield took home Reporter of the Year.

Nouse’s former film editor James Tyas took home runner-up in the Critic of the Year category.

York’s The Lemon Press, University of Oxford’s Medical School Gazette and the University of Nottingham’s Impact were also in the running for Publication of the Year.
