Bongo’s Bingo made its debut at the York Barbican on Saturday the 8th of October. What a night it was! From inflatable Bradley Walsh to unicorns to actual cash prizes, this game of bingo was like no other.
Since starting in 2015, Bongo’s Bingo has become the latest and greatest phenomenon in UK nightlife. Touring up and down the country, in cities such as Glasgow and Blackpool, the show uses the age-old game of bingo to create an immersive gambling experience. On the way into the venue, you get handed 6 games of bingo and a pen ahead of the show. Within each game, there are three prizes up for grabs depending on if you get a row, two rows, or a full house.
Led by host Jonny Bongo, we were blessed with dancers “Slutty Susie” and “Horny Heidi” who kept the experience energetic and fun. Quite frankly, it was madness.

Jonny Lacey (Johnny Bongo) and his friend Joshua Burke created Bongo’s Bingo in 2015 and since then it has just kept growing with shows across the globe including Australia, Dubai, and Amsterdam.

On Friday the 9th of December, the show returns to the Barbican for a Christmas Special called ‘The Winner Takes It All. It is an experience you are not going to want to miss!
