Welcome to York Vision’s liveblog of the YUSU Referendum 2013

Our team of reporters will cover all five debates:

1. Should YUSU form a College Student Association for your college?
2. Should YUSU develop and implement a plan for a student letting agency?
3. Should the YUSU Welfare Officer be renamed to Welfare and Community Officer?
4. Should YUSU remove the position of Campaigns Officer?
5. Should YUSU implement the proposed democratic reform?

#YUsay is the Twitter hashtag. Tweet us at @YorkVision with your views.

Find out more about the campaigns here: http://www.yusu.org/your-union/blogs/entry/1194.

You can vote on the issues at www.yusu.org/vote after Thursday midday.

The coverage was brought to you by Patrick Greenfield (PG), Jo Barrow (JB), Beth Child (BC), Selina Pope (SP), Jack Gevertz (JG) and Catherine Walton (CW).

  1. So as soon as a right-winger(Leon) gets any position on the union, they try to abolish the position?

Thank God we don’t live in a country run like this.

  2. @Alumini
That comment made me laugh. I’m running the NO campaign to protect the position, because I feel it is a very valuable position. Kallum Taylor is trying to abolish it.

I’m also a centre-leftist. Please get your facts right.
