Students helped the YUSU Elections to trend nationally on Twitter last night.

The political event was held at the Roger Kirk Centre on the Heslington West campus on Monday evening.
The 3-hour marathon featured full-time officer candidates vying for student votes in the first televised event since campaigning for the 2014 Election began.
Voters will go to the polls during Week 8 to decide their new student union team.
The results will be announced on Friday 28 February.
