‘Moneyhorse Games’ have announced that ‘Glorious Leader!’ will let gamers play as North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un.

The newly formed, Atlanta-based game developer stated on their website that ‘Glorious Leader!’ is ‘an epic tale about the triumph of Kim Jong Un over the entire American army’.

Stylised as a 16bit ‘run ‘n’ gun’ shooter, the game will boast ‘7 unique levels as you defeat waves of imperialists, combat over-the-top bosses, and ride unicorns!’, all done as the controversial leader.

Jeff Miller, CEO of Moneyhorse Games, chose to develop the satirical game purely out of his fascination of North Korea. Whilst ‘Glorious Leader!’ is intended to be controversial, he believes that the game will find its own audience.

The game is set to be released for PC and mobile devices.
