Topshop Lips in Hazard is my favourite lip shade at the moment. It goes on really nicely and lasts for a good few hours, it smells and tastes great and it is the perfect  cherry red shade- not too dark for summer and adds drama and glamour to your look. It makes me feel like a china doll! I am not usually one for wearing red lipstick during the day but this one is so addictive that I feel bare without it now. It is possibly the best red lipstick that I have ever owned; though I would kill a small child to get my hands on a Chanel lipstick!

Chanel’s Rouge Allure in Pirate is, to me, the perfect red lipstick. I love it. It is a nice, bright cherry red, which stands out well against my skin colour and is easily wearable for day or night.

Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish in Nude Pink is definitely my favourite. It really does last all day, and instead of making a statement it is subtle, so it goes with everything and is a bit girly and glittery too, keeping your lips looking sweet and kissable.

This is great for making a feminine look more edgy, and making me feel like Dita Von Teese.

For me, it’s NARS Sheer lipstick in Manhunt that wins the lipstick battle. It has enough dazzle and depth for daytime, but when it is paired with a gloss it has enough glamour for a nighttime look. It is a pretty corally pink colour which looks candysweet and girly and would really stand out when worn with a pretty floral summer outfit.

  1. For an article contributed to by raging equality baron Helena Horton I am disgusted.

Where is the male option for creating fantastic summer kisses?!? Bloody joke.

  2. I am really sorry , “Horrified”! Men can feel free to wear lipstick too, of course :) If you want to, you can join the Lifestyle team and write about Men’s fashion and beauty, we need more contributors to that section ;) x
