Of course if you are female, this may not even matter. But if you are a shy male (or a shy and depressed male like myself), it is extremely difficult to meet potential girlfriends unless you are attractive (and lucky) enough to be approached by them. Apparently I am neither. And I don't really feel like "finding comfort" online, that would only make me feel lonelier.
